Avin’s Wonderland

A private festival-themed party, starting early on Saturday and rolling into the early hours of Sunday. An eighteen hours straight raving extravaganza for 500 friends, hosted by five brothers.
With the summer sun dazzling in the sky, guests started arriving remarkably early at the Avin’s Wonderland. The success of the previous party two years before had heightened the anticipation to fever pitch. Avin’s Wonderland is set in the humble surroundings of the de Klee’s family farm. The set was made up of three different stages: teepee camping, hot tubs and an intimate chill out area hidden deep in the woods. The festivities started down by the river at the outdoor stage, underneath one of Marble Private’s enormous stretch tents. This unique stage was positioned so that the sun set behind the DJ and the transition from day to night could be enjoyed in all its glory. Smoke bombs were lit as a 30-piece drum ensemble stole the crowd’s attention and led them all up the hill from one stage to the next. The second stage; the main stage of the event, was built in a barn without walls and showcased a massive disco ball, lasers and Marble’s full lighting package.
The transition from one stage to another was seamless, without skipping a beat in the music, the crowd filled the barn and the disco band notched up the ecstatic atmosphere. With the guests now well warmed up, the next unique band prepared their act as a set of curtains closed around the barn, sealing the revellers inside. Green boat flares were lit and a mind-blowing contemporary techno set played out. While the band played their last song, the drum ensemble came to life again and led the crowd to the next event of the evening: the 60ft bonfire. The crackling of the fire silenced the entranced crowd as they watched it burn. As the flames started to die down, more flares were lit to guide the crowd to the final treat of the evening: the after hours rave barn.
