Caline & Fares’ Italian Wedding

This couple contacted us on the same day they got engaged, looking to get married in the next 4 months in Italy. They wanted a classically beautiful villa to host their wedding, over an idyllic weekend in Florence. The venue needed to hold some level of elegant charm and magic while providing the majority of the decoration, highlighted with beautiful lighting, music and personalised touches.

Seeking the perfect setting proved the biggest challenge for our producers, given the popularity the surrounding area Florence has for prospective couples and the short time frame we had to secure one. With the couple living abroad, our team also needed to provide concise but detailed updates efficiently for shorter meetings, enabling the couple to feel as connected with their wedding as any UK based couple.

As requested, the rolling hills of Tuscany set the perfect backdrop for this wedding – the couple saying their vows during a beautifully intimate ceremony with the Duomo in the distance.

Followed by a relaxed reception, guests listened to French and Italian jazz mixed in with American songbook tunes, while sipping on aperol spritz and nibbling on local delicacies.

Guests were then invited to the Villa gardens, swimming in gold as the sun set over the beautiful setting for their open air dinner, food stations and dance floor. In true Italian style, guests dined from various decadent food stations, ranging from fresh pasta to mozzarella stations to a BBQ and cured meat.

Gorgeous personal touches threaded their way through the day, including directional signage to decorative informative signage, such as one sign at the ceremony explaining where the Bride and Groom met, said ‘I do ‘ and got married. Instagram polaroid stations and ‘prediction’ cards were available as little activities for guests to dip into during the informal meal and open air dancing.

Guests danced under the stars until they were escorted into the grand Limonaia for an after party until 4am – the first late night party the venue has ever permitted – welcomed with personalised sliders for those tired feet to continue dancing for that little bit more.
