Cliveden House 50th Birthday
The client came to us looking for an intimate 50th birthday party weekend surrounded by international friends and family at Cliveden House - a beautiful, quintessentially British venue set in the Buckinghamshire countryside. We curated a star-studded music line up and weekend of relaxing activities to help our client celebrate in style and luxury, but little did she know the surprises that lay ahead...
The stunning location of Cliveden House provided the perfect luxury British style and comfort. Marble’s design team focused on bringing the features alive through impressive flowers, lighting and photo moments, thus elevating the beautiful surroundings. No minute of the day was left forgotten.
Guests were greeted by butlers and had a mix of luxury activities to keep them entertained around the state throughout the afternoon. After a relaxing day of pampering, the party was ready to begin.
The extravaganza began with a drinks reception in the Great Hall, where guests – dressed in their best black tie – enjoyed champagne served from a tower. The beautiful Nigerian sounds of Bukky Leo and his afro-beat quartet immersed guests in the celebration. Following this, Bovi, a well known Nigerian comedian and host for the night, led guests to the dining room, where they enjoyed an incredible 5 course meal. Spectacular flower arrangements by award-winning florist Mary Jane Vaughan created a ‘wow’ moment as guests walked in, and the sounds of Ollie Clark and Chris Cohen’s classical guitar and violin perfectly serenaded them.
As the speeches came to an end, the guests gasped as one of the waitresses dropped a tray and tripped into Bovi, however as soon as she started singing guests knew this was a flash mob choir. The amazing London Contemporary Voices acclaimed singers were disguised as waiters the whole time! As dinner ended guests were raring to go and danced their way back to the Great Hall where the room had been transformed by the Marble team over dinner. Yet another surprise was in store: the sounds of the up-and-coming Nigerian Afro superstar Teni lit up the room and the party was well and truly underway! Finally, the incredible DJ P Montana continued to entertain guests until the early hours of the morning.
The entertainment didn’t end there, though. The Marble team knew guests would need a good wake up call, so we transformed the Great Hall once again into a breakfast banquet, with our client’s favourite singer, Sinach, entertaining as a final surprise before guests departed.
