Meg & Nathan’s Wedding

We designed a tranquil, delicate wedding at the stunning Hedsor House, candlelit with snow-covered fir trees and finished with an après ski themed reception.
Our heightened decor and lighting perfectly complemented the Georgian Hedsor House, which dates back to 1166 and is framed by 100 acres of gorgeous land. Our bride and groom chose an elegant white theme for their celebration, which was emulated through luxurious florals and delicately placed candles. White rose and gypsophila-filled candelabras at the end of the aisle created a heavenly scene for our couple.
Meg & Nathan chose to tie the knot in January, so our theme of gentle snow and fir trees throughout the reception was a perfect ode to their winter wedding. In order to bring the outdoors in, we incorporated trees in a cascading design throughout the interior of Hedsor House. Carefully placed twinkling uplighters heightened this sense of magical wonderland escapism, creating a tranquil backdrop to Meg & Nathan’s special day. We then transformed the reception into an après ski themed party, with our dancefloor design and DJ booth getting guests on their feet and dancing.
Marble’s tech team were heavily inspired by the festive, wintery feel for this wedding; purple tones warmed the dinner venue and created a soft, subtle backdrop, which transgressed into cold blue tones for the reception. This clever lighting trick created the perfect bright atmosphere for dancing and partying, and looked fabulous alongside the snow-sprayed fir trees which lined the walls of the Centre Hall.
We curated a roster of entertainment sure to get the guests on their feet all night, including DJ Dom Booth and his sultry saxophonist, who play as a duo to add another dimension to their set and truly liven up the party. Meg and Nathan were serious party goers with a love for the folie douce, so Dom was briefed to deliver a high octane performance including all of their favourite tracks.
