Millie & Consti’s Countryside Wedding

A two day countryside wedding in different locations across the clients private land in Hampshire. The first evening was to kick off proceedings with a ‘Bavarian Beer Garden party’ within the grounds of an English country home. Focused on a relaxed vibe with music and Bavarian food stations. The second day was to have a smart English wedding set in the English countryside with an injection of colour, vibrancy and originality.

The first evening started with a Bavarian party in a fairytale British setting in the garden of their house. The guests walked up through ribbon filled hoops towards an area filled with drapes to match Miranda Fairhurst’s flowers, wooden furniture and buffets filled with Bavarian food by Victoria Blashford-Snell. We carefully sourced materials, drapes and props to create an atmospheric area that both the guests and client felt completely transformed the space.

The next day, guests went to the ceremony in the local church, which was filled with floral touches of what was to come at the wedding. Afterwards guests made their way to reception drinks which was simple yet elegant under a stretch tent filled with flowers and cake, overlooking a classical Hampshire countryside view.

For the dinner, guests walked around the corner and were surprised with a beautifully decorated LPM Bohemia Grand Pavillion Tent, a unique, bohemian tent that fitted wonderfully with the rustic countryside fields. Guests walked up the steps and were welcomed with a meadow of blue, white and purple Sweet Peas on mustard coloured tables with wicker table matts and a large central floral hoop that hung overhead to create height.

After dinner, guests moved into the final secret location, the ‘Dancing Dome, a wonderful surprise. We worked closely with the bride for the design to make it an elegant, retro, epic party atmosphere all the same time. guests danced the night away on a mirror dance floor, beneath a canopy of lush greenery and mirror balls, surrounded by palm trees. The DJ took over, dry ice and cocktails in full swing and they danced the night away until the early hours.

We’re also thrilled to share that the wedding has been featured in Vogue magazine! Read it here.
